->Infosys is established by Narayan Murthy & Six Engineers in Pune,India

->Infosys started with only Rs 10000/- and their Latest Sales Turnover is 79047 Crores with more than 242000 employees.

Some of us aim for largest Company (in Employement), Some wants Biggest Company( in Revenue), but Murthy said we should aim to be India's Most Respected Company. ( I think they achieved it ).

->In February,1984 Infosys decided to import a Supermini Computer to Start Developing Software for overseas clients. Machine was ready at Bangalore airport but Custom Department wanted some 'Below the Table money'. Custom Department informed Infosys for the same but Infosys Denied it. Narayan Murthy asked what's the other option and Infosys had to pay 135% Custom Duty and then appeal for a Refund. 

They didn't have that much money. Infosys borrowed money from market and paid Custom Duty to do Business Ethically but they dont give Bribes to Custom officials.
After some time corrupt officers knew that they would not get any bribe from Infosys.

->Where everyone is bending the rules, but because of Infosys's Ethical Image -Customers trusted them, Investors trusted them and Infosys gained respect from Society and Government too.

-> It takes time to benefit from morale ethics. You feel the pain immediately but you reap the gains in the long run if you stick by it.
